The landscaping work in the garden continues to develop. The Secret Arts Foundation has been busy working with YEScollective artists Ildiko Buckley and Jane Palmer for the London Art Now Armsden exhibition in Gloucestershire. They have been hearing lots of exciting whispers of things to come from the Secret Emporium.

Don’t forget that grant applications open for action camps, art installations and theatre on 1st November. For 2013 they will once again be seeking out proposals that have participation and interaction at the very heart of the idea. It’s time to start thinking about what you want to bring to the garden for 2013…

However this month they want to transport you back to the garden with some live recordings from Secret FM radio and hear from one of the garden’s beloved smaller stages which could be found between rushes and weeping willows this summer; Woodburner.

Sounds of the Garden….

Be transported back to the garden with Secret FM radio…  Here's the first batch, which were recorded on the Thursday at SGP 2012 to kick start your trip down memory lane:

Next month, they will bring you the live recordings from Friday at SGP 2012.

2012’s Greener Gardener…

Three cheers to Joanna Grimmer for being crowned SGP 2012’s Greener Gardener. All gardeners which travel to the garden in either a full car or via bus, coach, train or bicycle were rewarded with a Greener Gardener card, entitling them to treats and discounts across the garden, as well as the opportunity to enter into a draw for tickets to next summer’s party.

Boutique Camping 2013…

Camp in style next summer…. Boutique campers have their own direct road onto the festival site, leading to a private car park, barrow boys to assist with luggage, exclusive boutique facilities and just a moment’s stroll into the heart of the party.

Options of all shapes and sizes are available for friends, couples, groups or families, from bell tents, extravagant yurts and traditional tipis through to stylish suite huts, cosy squrts, solar powered podpads, a gypsy caravan and a luxury cottage on wheels. Book early to avoid disappointment.

A catch up with… Woodburner

For those who have not yet discovered the Woodburner in the garden, here's a little bit about it?

Woodburner is all about super intimate acoustic music; close enough to touch and marvel at the craft of our artists. Lots of people think Woodburner is about sitting down and listening, and often that's what people do; but we know how to rowdy it up too when the time is right.

What is Woodburner up to at the moment…?

Their weekly Woodburner nights have just restarted every Tuesday, in Stoke Newington.

Keep in touch and find out more about Woodburner…here
