Sam Ryder to headline Wychwood Festival

Wychwood Festival which takes place at Cheltenham Racecourse from Friday 2nd - Sunday 4th June has announced that Sam Ryder will headline the main stage on Sunday.  He joins previously announced headliners Happy Monday and Travis.

Also announced today are rock band Sleeper and Mark Watson, who will headline the comedy tent on Saturday 3rd June.

For his first ever headline festival show, the electric Sam Ryder will close out the party on Sunday 4th June. The BRIT Award nominee made headlines last year after an amazing Eurovision journey, representing the UK and finishing second, bringing the Eurovision spirit back home. His debut album There’s Nothing But Space, Man! hit Number 1 in the UK Official Charts, including smash single ‘Space Man’, ‘Living Without You’ with Sigala and David Guetta, plus latest track ‘All The Way Over’.

Iain Game, Festival Director of Wychwood Festival, said:

We’re so excited to welcome Sam Ryder this summer, closing out Wychwood Festival with his first ever headline festival set.  It’s going to be a really special weekend less than 100 days to go!
