Roger Daltery, Adam Ant & Gallows added to the Guilfest line up.

They join an incredibly eclectic already announced line up of James Blunt, Razorlight, N-Dubz, PiL, Peter Andre, Erasure, and Ziggy Marley.

Founder and frontman of The Who, ROGER DALTREY is coming to GuilFest!!! The iconic rock legend has been confirmed to headline the Main Stage at GuilFest on Friday 15th July 2011.  Roger will be performing The Who’s legendary rock opera TOMMY from start to finish, as well as a variety of Who Classics and more!  Tommy is not only one of the most acclaimed and defining works of the rock era, it is an enduring album that resonates on radio to this day where it has found multi-generational appeal.  As lead singer of The Who, one of the most influential rock bands of all time, Roger has notched up over 100 million record sales - including ten UK top 10 studio albums and thirteen UK top 10 singles, such as seminal classics “My Generation”, “Pinball Wizard”, and “Happy Jack” amongst many others; as well as scoring four UK top 40 studio albums as a solo artist in his own right.

Roger has also been winner of a string of prestigious awards and accolades in his 52 year career, including a Grammy lifetime achievement award for outstanding artist significance in music, a British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors Gold Badge Award for special and lasting contributions to the British entertainment industry, and even a CBE for services to Music, The Entertainment Industry and Charity.  As a member of The Who, Roger was inducted in to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005.  The band also received The Freddie Mercury Lifetime Achievement in Live Music Award in 2006, as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award from The British Phonographic Industry in 1988.

Organisers are delighted with the major coup of having such a fantastic musical legend appear at GuilFest this July.

ADAM ANT and his band, The Good, The Mad and The Lovely Posse are confirmed to headline The Good Time Guide Stage on Friday 15th July.  Leader of New Wave/post-punk group Adam and the Ants, Adam has scored seven UK top 40 albums, ten UK top 10 hits, including three No1 Singles, “Stand and Deliver”, “Prince Charming” and “Goody-Two Shoes”.  As well as being a multi-million selling artist, Adam has also had a very successful acting career, having appeared in over 20 films and television shows and was once voted sexiest man in America by the viewers of television channel MTV.

Adam Ant is easily one of the most instantly recognisable and iconic artists of the twentieth century.  Undoubtedly his performance at GuilFest this July will be something not to be missed.

Critically Acclaimed hardcore Punks GALLOWS will be headlining The Rock Cave Stage on Sunday 17th July.  A band with a huge underground following, Gallows won the 2007 Kerrang!
