Richie Hawtin has been announced to headline on the Saturday night at this years Eastern Electrics festival.

His reputation has traversed far beyond the realms of techno to inspire a generation of electronic music lovers the world over. Projects such as Concept 1 and his infamous Plastikman pseudonym are now regarded as seminal works of minimal techno. His set at Eastern Electrics Festival will offer a unique opportunity to experience one of the world’s most revered artists in a location steeped in rich musical heritage.

Kerri Chandler will also be joining festivities, as will mash-up master and Numbers co-founder Jackmaster along with cohort Spencer. Rising star of Detroit techno Kyle Hall, Chicago mainstay Chez Damier and some of the finest underground talent from Berlin and Rotterdam in the form of Gerd, Tommy Four Seven, Brian Sanhaji, have also been announced, as well as some home-grown talent from Matt Tolfrey, Christophe and Lukas.
