Visitors from across the North West descended on the fields of Claremont Farm during the Bank Holiday weekend to experience the sights, sounds and smells of Farm Feast – a two day festival of food, drink, music and fun– and Livestock, a programme of live music headlined by Peter Hook and the Light. Approximately 30,000 revellers enjoyed the Wirral’s hottest new attraction, making this inaugural outing a resounding success with organisers and visitors alike.

Claremont Farm’s Andrew Pimbley said:I am overwhelmed by the success of Farm Feast, there was a fantastic turn out over the weekend and the feedback has been incredible. Taking a well-established festival and adapting it to attract a wider audience was a challenge, but has certainly paid off and we created something that everyone involved is incredibly proud of. Now all that’s left to do is get cracking on Farm Feast 2015!

Liverpool event organisers Orb Events worked closely with the Pimbley family as co-organisers and co-creators and were instrumental in delivering this fantastic festival.

Debbie Boyd, Director of Orb Events (Creator of Liverpool Pride 2010 & co creator of Brazilica Festival) said; "It was a dream opportunity to work with such great people and we are grateful that all our hard work paid off. We are proud to add Farm Feast to our portfolio of events and look forward to continuing this success with all our exciting projects and events taking place throughout 2014 and 2015."

Mayor of Wirral Councillor Dave Mitchell opened the first ever Farm Feast which saw foodies and music enthusiasts braving the weather to experience many of the festival’s offerings, with highlights including the Sheep Show – which included a dancing sheep; a massive hit with attendees - a great selection of seasonal beers and ciders atthe Beer and Cider Festival, the Vintage Village, the Good Life Marquee, the Chef’s Demo Stage which saw the region’s most talented chefs deliver interactive demos and master classes and the Little Feasters Zone, which catered for the younger festival-goers.

No festival would be complete without an elative line-up of music – and a splattering of mud – and The Dovedale Social Main Stage and the Mellowtone Courtyard Stage saw music fans enjoying live performances from the very bestartists from the region and beyond and the hotly anticipated Livestock saw The Lower Meadow host a headline performance from Peter Hook and The Light, with support from the hotly tipped Dan Croll, Liverpool trio Stealing Sheep and Merseyrail Sound Station 2013 winners Soho Riot.
