The 2nd annual Ramsbottom Festival promises a relaxed environment in which to enjoy live indie-folk music in a place known locally as Rammy, a bohemian bolthole just north of Manchester.

Music lovers, real ale aficionados, foodies and families will love the whole Rammy festival package, which includes arts and music workshops, story telling, comedy, a funfair a real ale tent and independent food outlets.

“We’re thrilled to have an eclectic line-up which will attract people to a great festival location,” says David Agnew, festival director.   “We look forward to welcoming devout music fans as well as local audiences who have not experienced anything quite like it before. The line up is brilliant; full of fantastic music, comedy and family activities; it’s a friendly atmosphere and an affordable weekend party right on Manchester’s doorstep.” 

Background

The Ramsbottom Festival is a not-for-profit project managed by The Met, an arts charity and performance venue in Bury. This year the festival partners with Funkademia, Hey Manchester, Folk Rising and Bop Local and extends into comedy, poetry and a huge range of family fun to widen the appeal of this picturesque, unique music festival on the doorstep of Manchester.
