Latitude Festival 2018 line up second announcement

The latest wave of artists announced for this year's Latitude Festival  include: Alex Cameron, Fickle Friends, Jeremy Loops, La Femme, Hudson Taylor, and Gang of Youths, all of which will be performing on the Obelisk Arena (Main Stage).

Also added to the bill are: IAMDDB, Phobophobes, The Orielles, Connie Constance, Durand Jones & The Indications, and Porches, who are all set to perform on the sunrise arena.  The latest additions for the Lake Stage are: Hak Baker, Bloxx, Bryde, Girlhood, Lower Slaughter, Omaloma, Skinny Pelembe, WH Lung, Husky Loops, and The Howl & The Hum.

In addition to new music Latitude has also revealed details of additions to their comedy line up including QI Live where Sandi Toksvig and Alan Davies will present a unique all-bells-and-klaxons edition, specially researched for the Festival and featuring a celebrity panel drawn from the cream of Latitude talent.

Sandi Toksvig commented

“The last time I presented QI Live (at the University of Kent), I was offered the job of permanent host. Can’t wait to see what they come up with this time…”

Alan Davies will also will also perform solo, as will Black Books comedian Dylan Moran, festival favourite Marcus Brigstocke.

The SpeakEasy will see former Labour leader Ed Miliband and Geoff Lloyd will present their award-winning hit podcast Reasons to be Cheerful.

Latitude Festival 2018 takes place from Thursday 12 - Sunday 15th July at Henman Park Estate, Southwold, Suffolk.  The festival isa wonderful multi are event, truly a festival for the whole family young and old. Latitude is the only place that brings together the best in music, literature, comedy, poetry, film, theatre, cabaret, art, dance, opera and fashion for one spectacular weekend.
