The Mostly Jazz, Funk & Soul Festival have confirmed that Public Enemy will replace the previously announced The Sugarhill Gang as Friday headliners. The festival takes place at Moseley Park, Birmingham from 10th --12th July 2015.

The original headliners Sugarhill Gang & Furious Five feat. Melle Mel & Scorpio are no longer able to perform the first leg of their European tour due to illness. A statement from them say, "We profusely apologize for any and all inconveniences. No one is hurting more over this than the group(s), who have ever never cancelled a show in the history of their touring career."

Public Enemy will be arriving at Moseley Park with their multi gold and platinum back catalogue to ignite the Friday night completing a seminal Hip Hop line up alongside The Pharcyde.

Tickets are expected to sell quickly following this announcement.
