In EastEnders’s 30th anniversary year, the Queen Vic’s current landlord Danny Dyer, Natalie Cassidy and executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins will be sharing Albert Square’s secrets with host Gaby Roslin. Peaky Blinders’ star Cillian Murphy and series creator and writer, Steven Knight, will be appearing to discuss the critically acclaimed gangster drama ahead of its eagerly anticipated third series. ITV’s Endeavour has also been added to the drama line-up, with the show’s star Shaun Evans and executive producer Damien Timmer discussing the challenges ofmaking the hugely popular Inspector Morse prequel.

The nation’s favourite posh-couple, Gogglebox’s Steph and Dom, have joined the festival bill, to discuss, amongst other things, their new book on modern manners - Steph & Dom’s Guide to Life. Mackenzie Crook, writer, director and star of the Bafta award winning Detectorists, will be joined by producer Adam Tandy to discuss the show which was BBC Four’s highest ever rating comedy. Actor and author John Challis, best-known for playing Only Fools and Horses’ Boycie, will be reflecting on his career and favourite on and off-screen moments, giving audiences a unique insight into Britain's best-loved comedy.

On Thursday night, before Sir David Attenborough’s induction into the Radio Times Hall of Fame, wildlife fans can enjoy A Wild Audience With…Steve Leonard, Martin Hughes-Games and Doug Allan - an hour of animals, adventure, and thrilling insights into their greatest encounters with the natural world. Ahead of the latest Channel 4 series of George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces, the presenter will be inviting audiences inside the extraordinary world of small builds, where people turn tiny spaces into incredible places to live, work and play. The face of Channel 4 News for more than 25 years, Jon Snow, will be taking audiences through his fascinating career and the incredible stories he has covered; and two of Britain’s best-known broadcasters, BBC economics editor Robert Peston and PM host Eddie Mair, will summon the spirit of their Radio 4 interview show, answering questions such as who is their favourite interviewee and what it’s really like to work for the BBC.

Other new sessions and events recently announced include: The Real Wolf Hall - TV and joint chief curator for Historic Royal Palaces, Tracy Borman, will take guests on an exclusive 90-minute tour of the Tudor Palace at Hampton Court; the iconic Annie Nightingale will be reflecting on her six decades in music, from the Beatles to Ibiza, giving an insider’s view on some of the biggest stars in rock, pop and indie; the BFI will be hosting four sessions, including a rediscovered (and as yet unannounced) comedy classic from the 1960’s as part of their initiative to find TV material previously thought wiped from the archives, and a history of Britain’s best-selling quality magazine - Radio Times.
