The splendid Off The Tracks Festival returns to Donington Park Farmhouse in Derbyshire over the weekend 2nd-4th September 2016.
Small and perfectly formed, Off The Tracks has delighted audiences for the past twenty seven years, not least our FFA Reviewers (Read the FFA Off The Tracks 2015 Review), and commands a passionately loyal following. Off The Tracks is all rather unique – the festival is held in and around converted farm buildings with the majority of entertainment indoors. Camping is on an attached year round formal camp site with proper brick facilities and the compact site boasts a genuine real pub and restaurant amongst much else. Most of the festival happens around the farmyard and outbuildings. It’s all wonderfully novel and a real tonic from the everyday festival in a field with portable toilets! What better than cultured camping on the dedicated Donington Park Farmhouse Camping Site, and then wander into a real pub, with great food and with a beer festival to boot, before listening to some terrific bands in the covered courtyard or barns! It’s just the ticket for an end of festival season blow out.
You will find the camaraderie intoxicating and the word ‘VIBE’ appears to have been invented purely to describe that Off The Tracks feeling. Indeed, FFA regard OTT as more House Party than Festival!
This year’s line-up features the likes of Ozric Tentacles, Neville Staple, Treacherous Orchestra, Hugh Cornwell, and Simon Friend's Seismic Survey, plus a wealth of other outstanding established and emerging talent.
Apart from the excellent music, you can expect the famous OTT Beer Festival with around 70 beers and ciders on offer, plus a dedicated kids area, and lots of other entertainment in the farmyard and around the site - so there is plenty for all the family at this most civilised of festival experiences.
Why not join those in the know and experience that wonderful Off The Tracks vibe for yourself. If the Festivals For All Reviews are anything g to go by – you won’t regret a minute!
