The lovely people at Off The Tracks are helping out a festival goer who’s not been having the best of times recently. The festival is also encouraging other attendees to donate too. A lovely gesture illustrating the true festival spirit!

Matty Hands' beloved converted bus was destroyed in an arson attack in Coventry in July, robbing him of all his clothes and possessions. Read about the background HERE.

Matty was a regular at Off The Tracks Festivals, the twice-yearly independent music festival held near Castle Donington on the Derbyshire/Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire border (Loved by FFA’s reviewers and one of The Guardian's 'Top Family Festivals 2013').  After hearing of his plight, the Off The Tracks family is rallying round.

At their summer festival, August 30-Sept 1, they will be accepting donations of clothing and other household items from their festival attendees, to help Matty rebuild his life. They've invited him and a guest along free of charge and have begun a Facebook campaign today, urging people to bring items for Matty. (Anything which isn't suitable will be donated to Oxfam.)
