The creative team behind Snowbombing have announced the launch of a brand new ‘sister’ festival: Transition. Taking place from 13th-19th December 2015, the event will be taking over the stunning snow-capped resort of Avoriaz in the French Alps with an avalanche of incredible dance acts and artists from the four corners of the globe. Tickets for the event will go on sale on Thursday 20th August.

The confirmed acts includes: Dizzee Rascal, Bondax, B-Traits, Krafty Kuts, Wilkinson and Ben Pearce to name but a few.

Snowbombing – revelers can also expect to enjoy some ‘bombing favourites like the Artic Disco Igloo, Rompa’s Reggae Shack, and the Ride & Seek competition. And it ain’t ‘snow’ party without the now legendary Pool Parties of which Transition will be holding two.

Transition will also be starting some of its very own iconic events, including Europe’s largest alpine meal featuring 2000 people. Armed with fire-torches, festival goers will take a skiing descent into a beautiful nearby valley to dine under the stars. Throughout the week there will be a momentous mountain BBQ (or barbiflette!) at the incredible natural snow playground, the Burton Stash Boardpark and to top it off one huge 2000 player organized snowball fight!

Add to the mix a mind-blowing combination of eight bespoke clubs, daily mountain-top raves, forest-lit outdoor stages, intimate gigs, igloo sound clashes and unique pop-up parties, not to mention some of the best skiing in France, Transition is the best early Christmas present you could ever dream of giving yourself.

Prices start at a mere £99 for 6 nights’ accommodation and wristband rising to £349 for the full package that includes return coach travel from the UK, accommodation, wristband and 6-day lift pass.
