This statement was issued by the management of Nazareth:

The band has just returned from their tour of Brazil where, unfortunately, singer Dan McCafferty picked up a chest infection.

Due to this, doctors have advised Dan that it should take around two weeks to clear this infection using a course of medication that has been prescribed.This has resulted in the band having to postpone the U.K. tour with the next window of opportunity to complete it being November this year.

The tour promoters and venues have been informed and, hopefully they will all agree to re-scheduling the shows.

Nazareth sincerely apologise and regret any inconvenience this has caused but hope to make it up to all their fans later this year.

Midlands show happening at the Robin 2 next week (21st) has been postponed to Sunday 24th November. Tickets already purchased for 21^st March valid for Sunday 24^th November 2013.
