Talks and debates – full of great ideas and thinking they are joined by journalist and writer Melissa Benn, Oasis founder Steve Chalke, professional optimist Mark Stevenson, speaker Abdul-Rehman Malik, priest and poet Rachel Mann, and youth worker Fuzz Kitto. They will also have an introduction to the powerful testimony of Combatants For Peace, with speakers from both sides of the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Artist Bobby Baker participates in a conversation about mental health, friend of the festival Adrian Plass returns with the latest volume of his Sacred Diary, and they bring back the pioneering Battle of Visions debates, in which the audience referees debates between speakers – confirmed participants include Jim WallisSymon Hill,Helen Arney and Mark Stevenson.

There will also be debates on marriage, liberation theology, the welfare state and human enhancement, with a whole host of previously announced speakers including John BellMaurice Glasman and Marika Rose, plus new additions Steve Fuller andLuke Robert Mason.

On the Sunday night Mainstage bill with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, with support from hotly-anticipated rockers The Temperance Movement and awesome two-piece King Kool. And get back to the old school with Greenbelt favourites Why? as one of our retro lunchtime gigs.

Get to the Performance Cafe early for an exclusive headline set for Martyn Joseph, an all-age ceilidh from Flaming Nora, and the Solas Festival comes to Cheltenham with special performances by Iain Morrison and Rory Butler.
