Another nine incredible acts have been added to the line-up for the North West's biggest indoor music festival Blackpool Rocks 2014. Nine unsigned or recently signed bands will rock the Galleon room at the Winter Gardens on 21 December, joining an outstanding line-up of globally-recognised DJs and performers.

Blackpool will be represented by two home-grown bands; Belvadere will wow the crowds with their modern folk-style take on both classic covers and their own new material, while Naomi's Blood Diamonds will show off their electro-pop sounds with tunes like Back & White and The Parade.

Idol Minds, whose stand-out blend of tropical indie pop is proving increasingly popular with audiences around the UK, hail from Morecambe and will provide more local support to the huge Blackpool Rocks brand.

Also confirmed to play on this new music stage are Berlin Berlin from Manchester, who recently released their first single Josef and were named 'Ones to Watch' by the Daily Mirror. Chester-based The Suns, whose tunes Last of the Lonely hearts and Surf Nightmare have propelled them into the public eye, will also be performing.

Pop punk/rock group Next Stop Atlanta and Mobius Loop, an infinite folk band with a distinct sound, all hail from Preston and will be joining the Galleon stage on the night.

The Coustics, a five-piece band from Lytham St Annes currently working on their second album, will take to the stage with their eclectic mix of indie/alternative/ acoustic rock and perform tracks from their new album, while indie/alternative band The Assist completes the exciting new line up.

These up-and-coming acts will join chart-topping indie superstars The 1975, dance duo Disclosure and rap supremo Wretch 32 at the gig in Blackpool's Winter Gardens.

Festival organiser and DJ Danny Howard said: "It's really exciting to have so much fresh and undiscovered talent performing alongside more established acts. It gives the crowd the chance to see some of these performers in a more intimate setting before they really hit the big time."

Tickets for Blackpool Rocks are still available here, and start from just £26.50.

Blackpool Rocks Festival 2013 takes place at Winter Gardens Church Street, Blackpool, Lancashire between Sat 21st December 2013.
