Menace Beach, Baby Godzilla, Vant, Grace Petrie, Ltnt, T E Morris, Tim Ot, Huskies and Best Friends have been added to the line-up for Handmade Festival which takes place over three days in May at Leicester’s O2 Academy.

The cinema programme has also been confirmed, which is being curated by Poppy Jack Productions and WeThe Conspirators, in association with Phoenix. This consists of feature length films as well as showcases of local and international film making talent, screened in our pop-up cinema all weekend.

In 2015 they are welcoming back their art curator Heather Forknall and photography curator David Wilson Clarke who have put together incredible exhibitions of artistic talent from across the midlands. De Montfort University is supporting their arts programme this year for the first time, allowing them to do much more than they have been able to in previous years.

Leicester performance collective TETRAD will be programming a night of Performance at Embrace Arts (Just around the corner from the main festival site) on Sunday 3rd May. Entry is free with a wristband.

Leicester Print Workshop who will be producing a bespoke screen printed poster for the festival which will be sold to contribute towards their ‘Big Move’ to the cultural quarter.
