Generator presents an Artist Development Masterclass Day which will feature high profile music industry experts and offer essential insight, thought-provoking debate and practical advice for emerging artists and DIY music businesses. Oli Kluczewski, Festival Producer: ‘Rising Festival 2014 is our biggest and boldest to date, showcasing even more fantastic new music than ever. We really want people to come to the festival and experience the building and discover something new, take part and be inspired. In addition to the all the great music, the programme features loads of practical advice sessions for emerging artists and young people looking to get ahead in the creative industries. The Roundhouse aims to make Rising an essential event on the festival calendar for anyone looking to break into the music business.’

To support the Roundhouse’s work with 11-25 year olds, the festival has also programmed a range of creative projects specifically for that age group, including a songwriting masterclass and ‘demo surgery’. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their work at the festival.

Across the 4 days, ticketholders are encouraged to wander the building and get involved with live visuals from Eyes On The Wall, a mixtape artwork exhibition by Funny Tummy, a takeover by art collective Belly Kids and much more.
