The festival also announced their new festival partners, with stage curation and involvement from UPSET magazine, Wichita Records and BBC Introducing East Midlands confirmed.

Festival organiser John Helps says: "We’re incredible excited to welcome UPSET MAGAZINE, WICHITA RECORDS and BBC INTRODUCING EAST MIDLANDS who join LAST.FM, BIG SCARY MONSTERS and ALCOPOP as stage curators for Handmade 2016. We’ve had a long relationship with Dean Jackson and the guys at BBC Introducing East Midlands and are delighted that they’re joining with us this year. Whilst relatively new, Upset have already established themselves nationally with an outlook on music that’s totally aligned with ours - which is about the most important thing, really. Wichita are a label we’ve all been consistently awestruck by - so it’s fantastic that they’ll be contributing to our line-up in a big way this year. We can’t wait to work with them all to put together a great line-up for our 2016 programme.

The Leicester based festival has been steadily growing over the last few years and previous events have seen bands such as: Slaves, The Twilight Sad, Honeyblood, Eagulls, Future of the Left, Toy and many more headline the festival. This year’s festival will also be run in association with Big Scary Monsters, Alcopop!, Last.FM and many more and will feature a whole host of music, art, comedy and film over multiple indoor stages.
