If ever there was a family friendly festival that encapsulated the spirit of major festivals, but managed to create an equal - if not better - atmosphere, then LodeStar is that festival!

For us at LodeStar it's all about the vibe, that TRUE festival vibe that only exists when all the ingredients are right, it's not just about the music! Music is crucial of course but the reality is that when you go to a festival you want to EXPERIENCE things you may not otherwise see or do.  This is where LodeStar really comes in to its own.  As well as the usual side stalls providing local foods, ales/ciders & refreshments, LodeStar give you a chance to expand your horizons .

We accomplish this by taking you along a route less travelled, leading the audience on a voyage of discovery through some quality new music, helping you to find stuff you never knew you liked, seeing some fantastic new talent whilst also providing you with the opportunity to participate in fun activities.

The activities range from Archery to adrenaline fuelled Zorbing to the more sedate Nature Trails.  Whilst performance art includes Cabaret to Circus, Arts & Fringe Theatre from Edinburgh, as well as plenty of other things to see and do over the three days of LodeStar.

It gets better!  LodeStar is extremely family friendly, so much so that children aged 14 and under get in for free with accompanied parents! YES FREE FOR CHILDREN! And camping/campervans are free with the purchase of a weekend ticket.

There really is something for everyone at a unique and fantastic festival held in Lode near Cambridge.  Lodestar are proud to be so diverse and give back to charities that make a difference as a thank you.
