The Levellers and The Proclaimers are coming to Lusty Glaze this July, to perform their legendary tracks in the cove’s stunning natural amphitheatre. On 18 July Lusty will rock to the beat of The Levellers’ drums, and on 19 July The Proclaimers will play their classic anthems in, undoubtedly, Cornwall’s most stunning beachside music venue.
The Levellers, known for their punky folk rock music with a Celtic twist, will bring to the stage some of their most well known songs from their platinum album ‘Levelling the Land’, such as ‘One Way’ and ‘The Devil Went down to Georgia’. We’ll also be treated to songs from their latest album, ‘Static on the Airwaves’.
The UK’s favourite Scottish duo, The Proclaimers, will perform their melodic folk rock tunes, such as I’m Gonna Be (500 miles), as part of their latest album release, ‘The Very Best Of The Proclaimers’. As always, the twins will be guaranteed to get the crowd singing along and moving their feet!
The Levellers will be supported by solo acoustic musician Gaz Brookfield and Celtic rock and folk band Emerald.
The Proclaimers will be supported by folk singer Kezia, from Cornwall, and The Jar Family, ‘inventors’ of industrial folk.
For both gigs, the gates open at 18:30, with the support acts starting at 19:00 and the headline bands playing at 21.00. Tickets are available from £22 and are available here
Lusty Glaze’s famous paella, burgers, pasties and premium brand lager will, of course, be available, alongside this incredible line up of bands.
