Cropredy announced their first tranche of artists for 2013, on Thursday 8 August, once again, Fairport Acoustic will welcome you to the festival. Fairport will be followed by the special guest their WIntour 2013, singing the songs of the late Jake Thackray, Fake Thackray. Also joining the Thursday line-up are folk/reggae band Edward II. 

On Friday 9 August  10CC and Levellers return, plus the winner of the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Musician of the year.   There will also be some traditional folk in the shape of one Ireland's most popular bands Lunasa.

Cropredy has always been about encouraging new bands and it is great to see Moulettes already making big waves around the country.

There has always had a strong connection with Jethro Tull and one the first boxes ticked this year was Martin Barre and his latest band Martin Barre's New Day performing the music of Jethro Tull

Richard Digance will have his traditional opening slot on Saturday 10 August.

Leeds' The Dunwells are quickly gaining a reputation as one the finest English rock/American roots band and we are delighted to have them at Cropredy. 

Nik Kershaw will be on stage before before Fairport Convention and friends will will close the festival with their 3 hour extravaganza.
