Larmer tree have announced that heading up the children's programme on Saturday 20th July will be Katy Ashworth from CBeebies!  With two shows of fun sing-a-long songs, games and silly stories, she'll have your little ones belly laughing and jumping around with her. After the shows, Katy will stay to meet and greet families - signing autographs, taking photos and making your children feel right at home!

On Sunday morning, join in with an exclusive sing-a-long screening of the beloved Disney classic The Jungle Book in The Playground and then pop along to meet Horace the Travelling Pliosaur, a 35 foot Jurassic sea lizard you can actually climb into, and take a cinematic tour through his intestines! .

Taking to the Garden Stage for their first stage shows just for kids… is the return of human beat-boxer Shlomo with his unmissable Beatbox Adventure for Kids on Sunday, and on Saturday, award-winning folk duo Megson with their Family Folk Show.

Plus they have been busy creating a jam-packed schedule for all their mini festival-goers to have fun, get creative and let off some steam. Within an 11 acre playground of magical gardens to explore, you’ll find our dedicated Children’s Area for families and children, the Larmer Parler and Larmer Lawns host a fun line-up of shows, gigs, plus loads of hands-on activities and workshops to get stuck into from Thursday to Sunday, and there’s even a baby changing tent!

Get Stuck In with African drummingSwing dance and Zumba workshops.  They’ll be loads of hands on crafts and new to this year, drop in parachute games and play sessions run by game playing professionals Turn Up For FunPlaysongs will be running their ever popular musical sessions for under 5s and Baby Yoga is back. Pete White’s Suitcase Circus is back by popular demand, plus we have street theatre inspired by the gardens for children and their families by Gobbledegook Theatre!
