It’s been over 25 years in the making and the latest incarnation of the famous and fabulous Larmer Tree Festival kicks off on Wednesday 13th July 2016. That’s five nights of some of the most eclectic music and entertainment you are likely to witness at any of this year’s festival events. Artists of the both the calibre and diversity of Jamie Cullum, Caro Emerald, Calexico, The Stranglers, Tom Odell, John Cooper Clarke, Afro Celt Sound System, and Jack Savoretti will grace the stages over the five day period. If you can’t make the full 5 days then various multi-day ticket options are available plus individual day tickets if the mood takes you.

The music is of course only part of the wealth of attractions Larmer Tree offers. Expect a full comedy programme featuring the likes of Mark Steel, Paul Foot, Sam Simmons, and The Boy with Tape on His Face as well as the full gambit of cultural offerings Larmer Tree is famous for. There are talks by Dr John Cooper Clarke, Kate Adie, Ben Haggarty Stand Up & Slam! And Dr Simon Foster’s Rocket Science amongst a wildly diverse programme including some great Theatre and Shows - The Castle Builder, Sam Halmarack & The Miserablites, Web Granny, Turismo, and The Lift anyone?

Apart from all that, Larmer tree once again offers a comprehensive programme for all the family with a whole host of kids entertainment from toddlers to teens plus a wide range of Workshops and Experiences for all ages.

Needless to say, Larmer Tree also offers a fantastic range of quality food and drink options including the famous Dorset Farmers Market.

Phew! And if that’s not enough then there’s the funfair, art installations, walks and tours, and a myriad of other good times malarkey.

Set in the beautiful Larmer Tree Gardens in Dorset the festival offers the best in civilised festival going and makes a great choice whether it’s your first festival or your hundredth.
