German thrash metal legends Kreator are set to co-headline next year’s Hammerfest between March 14th/15th 2014 and head the cast of the first round of announcements for next spring’s bill.

Festival promoter John Davis of Chic Talent said "Following last year’s event, which included both Sodom and Destruction, we were really keen to have Germany’s other leading thrash metal act play at Hammerfest. We are glad to be able to announce Kreator's inclusion in this year’s bill. Last year’s event was considered by many to be our best yet. Thriving in its new location Hafan y Mor Park, North Wales, we aim to raise the bar higher still. Kreator released their 13th  studio album in 2012 titled ‘Phantom Antichrist’ on Nucleur Blast Records.

Kreator and Overkill to co-headline Hammerfest 6 with Soilwork, Unleashed, Grand Magus, Enthroned, Paragon (who play the UK for the first time following a 23 year career in Germany), Earthtone 9, Gibraltar’s finest flamenco metallers Breed 77 plus Annihilated and Gravil. 

Hammerfest takes place at Haven Hafan y Môr Holiday Park, Pwllheli,  Gwynedd, North Wales.
