Kendal Calling Festival has sold out in record time this year! With two and a half months still to go before the event, tickets have been snapped up quicker than ever. Organisers are reminding ticket buyers purchasing tickets through the deposit scheme to pay for their ticket before Wednesday 1st June to secure their pass. For those still looking to attend the show, there will be a Limited Ticket Resale at 9am on Friday 3rd June at 9am. “The Glastonbury of the North” have also revealed main stage additions; legend Hugh Cornwell, voice of iconic band The Stranglers has joined the bill. Famous for such hits as Golden Brown, Peaches and No More Heroes we think this hero sits perfectly with our stunning line up!

Other acts added to the bill include Los Angeles band Vintage Trouble, who can count Jools Holland amongst their fans. With the Glow Dance Tent dazzling with world class DJ’s, Glow have just revealed they added bass heavy force Krafty Kuts, daddies of dubstep Caspa and Breakage plus more masters of the decks set to keep the Kendal crowd partying hard till the wee small hours.

Ben Robinson, director of Kendal Calling says: "It's a huge compliment to all those involved that so many of you have got your tickets so early and are warming up for a weekend of country style fun & frolics. We still have more acts and all the attractions apart from the music to announce before we see you in the fields too.For those who have got a deposit ticket make sure you pay off the remainder by the 1st June. There is one last chance on the 3rd June to get tickets for Kendal Calling when we will be holding a resale of the deposit tickets that have not been paid off. See you down the front!"
