Multi Award winning festival Kendal Calling returns in 2013 for its 8th year to Lowther Deer Park in the Lake District. Situated in one of the most beautiful locations in the UK, last year’s festival was headlined by Dizzee Rascal who delivered one of his best ever performances, a fact acknowledged by a ‘Headline Performance Of The Year’ nomination at the upcoming Festival Awards. Kendal Calling is also nominated for Best Medium Sized Festival at the prestigious awards, recognition for another outstanding year of musical merriment in the fields.
A limited number of Early Bird tickets will be released on Thursday 15th November at 9am. Last year’s Early Bird tickets were snapped up in under 10 minutes so early booking is advisable. The festival itself sold out a remarkable 7 weeks in advance and the festival has sold out in each of the previous 7 years. The next batch of tickets for the festival will be on sale in early 2013.
After the success of Kendal Calling's Real Ale Festival at the festival itself over the past four years From The Fields online shop will open and will be stocking its very own ales Kend'ale and Oh Deer, as well as Elbow's Build A Rocket Boys. There will be a range of limited edition prints and canvases plus other bespoke merchandise available from Kendal Calling and the Live From Jodrell Bank series. To visit the shop click here.
