Festival director James Houston commented on John Otway return "Everyone loved his 2011 show," except me - I couldn't get in! So we've got a bigger venue for him this time, and I'll reserve a place in the front row. I used to go see his show every year at Glastonbury and it was always a highlight. I'm so excited that he'll by playing in the closing party at next year's Galtres birthday celebrations." 

Chris Helme will perform at the festival for his fifth consecutive year and he's become close to the hearts of thousands of Galtres go-ers. The former Seahorses front man has played everything at Galtres from main stage hits with a full band and Shed Seven guests, to intimate acoustic solo performances. 

These latest announcements follow confirmation last week of Friday joint headliners Bellowhead and Levellers, with more big names to follow soon. 

Festival organisers are hoping also to be able to show John Otway's new film. In order to celebrate his 60th birthday in 2012, John booked the Odeon Leicester Square to show the documentary of his life. Titled 'Rock and Roll's Greatest Failure: Otway the Movie', the sell-out screening saw cinematic history made with the final scenes of the movie being filmed from the red carpet on the morning of the film. The film was funded by fans becoming producers who were all individually credited in the movie credits. Following the success of the producers' premiere, 2013 has seen Otway take the completed movie to the Cannes Film Festival and it has been screened in cinemas throughout the country. The film has been critically acclaimed - receiving a four star review from The Guardian newspaper - and has been put forward for several BAFTAs including "British Outstanding Debut".
