Cornbury Festival which takes place from the 8th - 10th July have announced the first wave of artists for the 2016 event, including sSoulful piano virtuoso Jamie Cullum, 80’s acid jazz pioneers Soul II Soul, R&B troubadour Lemar and rock ‘n’ roll survivor Wilko Johnson

Other artists anounnced include, ska veterans The Beat along with newcomers Port Isla and The Lottery Winners.

Festival Director Hugh Phillimore commented ‘Spookily we’ve got our best three day festival line-up for our 13th year’, ‘and it’s a huge relief to be able to get at least one day off my chest!’

In another new move, organisers are offering up to 50% earlybird discounts on day tickets for 13 days only. 

Friday earlybird tickets cost just £50 for an adult, £5 for a child.
