The Irish Festival Awards returns for its seventh year in a row. Quite simply, a time to acknowledge and reward the hard work and efforts by all behind Ireland’s rapidly growing festival circuit.
This year welcomes a number of new nominees from Groove festival in Bray and MCD’s Longitude, to Big House in Castletown House and Samhain Festival in Glendalough. However, with the increase in nominees comes the decrease in categories...this is where you come in.
On December the 13th, voting will open through the Irish Festival Awards Facebook page. Fans will be encouraged to “vote and like” with a chance to win tickets to some of Ireland’s coolest festivals.
Last year saw both Electric Picnic and Knockanstockan walk away successful in their respective categories. This year everything can change, but only if you want it to.
