GABY ROSLIN, PAT SHARP AND MICK BROWN, TO HOST SPECTACULAR LAST SHOW ON EARTH

Pete Waterman and The Hit Factory Live – Christmas Cracker line-up have announced that they are preparing to put on a show worthy of the end of the world.  In line with the Mayan calendar’s prediction that the world will end on 21 December 2012, acts including Steps, Jason Donovan and Rick Astley will ensure that they go out with a bang at London’s O2 Arena. Will the likes of ’Deeper Shade of Blue’, ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’, ‘Too Many Broken Hearts’, ‘Venus’, ‘You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)’, ‘Toy Boy’ and Sonia’s aptly named ‘End Of The World’ be the last songs ever heard by the assembled audience?

Pete Waterman said: “If this is the end of the world I can think of no better way to celebrate than a concert featuring the greatest pop songs ever recorded!  We're going to ensure that Hit Factory Live - Christmas Cracker is the biggest and best party ever, with a few amazing surprises throughout the night!”

This unmissable Christmas spectacular will feature a stunning festive stage adorned with Christmas Trees, snow and Santa to well and truly ensure everybody gets into the Christmas spirit.  Live Nation are also excited to announce that Gaby Roslin and iconic DJ’s Pat Sharp and Mick Brown, who had success with the massive SAW hit singles ‘Let’s All Chant’ and ‘I Haven’t Stopped Dancing Yet’, are confirmed to host this apocalyptic celebration.

Hit Factory Live – Christmas Cracker will celebrate the legendary Stock Aitken Waterman songwriting and production team, the phenomenal success of Pete Waterman’s PWL label and, above all, the irresistible pop that came to define an era in British music history.  Once called ‘The Sound of a Bright Young Britain’, it undoubtedly now stands as the soundtrack to a generation, with sales of over 500 million units worldwide.

The sensational line-up features Steps, Rick Astley, Bananarama, Jason Donovan, Dead Or Alive, Pepsi & Shirlie, Princess, SInitta, Hazell Dean, Sonia, 2 Unlimited, Lonnie Gordon and Brother Beyond.
