The multi award winning Live From Jodrell Bank has today confirmed the support acts for a very special show with The Australian Pink Floyd. The Australian Pink Floyd will be performing a celebration show to mark the 40th anniversary of the release of the seminal Pink Floyd album, The Dark Side Of The Moon and this spectacular show is a never to be repeated opportunity to catch the ultimate tribute act at the University Of Manchester’s Jodrell Bank Observatory.

First act to be added is Hawkwind are a legendary act, formed in 1969, veterans of the first ever Glastonbury and widely acknowledged as creating a brand new genre of music – Space Rock.  The band recorded their trademark single ‘Silver Machine’, which featured Lemmy on vocals in 1972 and reached number 2 on the charts and their legendary Space Ritual tour took place in the same year.  The barrage of light, sound, dance and theatrics has since become a hallmark of all subsequent Hawkwind shows, making each gig a unique and spectacular event, rather than ‘another standard rock concert’.  Jodrell Bank is the ideal setting to see this pioneering act.

The Time & Space Machine is currently Richard's main project and it has morphed into a live band, featuring Hammond organ, guitars, bass, drums, vocal harmonies and a retina stretching psychedelic light show.  They will be performing tacks from their debut album ‘Set Phazer To Stun’ which made the top 100 of Rough Trade’s Albums Of The Year and their second long player ‘Taste The Lazer’

The Lucid Dream are a modern psychedelic rock band formed in Carlisle, Cumbria, in 2008 who have gained acclaim from the likes of NME, Q, Frank Skinner (Absolute Radio), Steve Lamacq (BBC Radio) and major support from BBC 6 Music (Nemone 'Record of the Weekend', Lauren Laverne, Gideon Coe and Tom Robinson).   The band have supported Death In Vegas, Spectrum, Crocodiles, Captain Beefheart's' The Magic Band' and The Aliens and are the most exciting act to emerge from the bourgeoning new psychedelic scene.
