Corrosion of Conformity from Raleigh, North Carolina have been added to Next Spring’s Hammerfest 6 and will line up alongside Thrash Legends Kreator, Overkill, Soilwork, Unleashed and many more. 

After touring the U.S. and Europe in 2011 with bands including Goatsnake and Clutch, Corrosions of Conformity joined forces with long-time producer John Custer to record what would be the band’s first release since 2005’s critically acclaimed ‘In the Arms of God’  The band recorded the album at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Los Angeles with help from Foo Fighters' engineer John Lousteau.

‘Corrosion of Conformity’ was officially released on February 28, 2012 on Candleight Records with artwork that features a revamp of the band’s iconic spiked-skull logo. The album was received to global acclaim and Hammerfest is extremely pleased to have them join next Spring’s already impressive line-up.

Also just added to next spring’s bill are Leeds  stoner metallers Black Moth, Sweden’s Thrash Metal act Darkane, LA Rockers GOLDSBORO, Italy’s Sound Storm plus other UK acts including Brighton’s Collisions, Cypher16, Huron, Maplerun and London’s Doom Favourites Dead Existence.

Hammerfest takes place at Haven Hafan y Môr Holiday Park, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, North Wales.
