GuilFest has received approval from the local council to take place this year.

In making the decision the local council recognised that ‘GuilFest is a popular family event, which supports local musicians and attracts thousands of visitors to the town. They also agreed that the festival could take place based upon the following conditions being met:

1. Payment of a financial bond to cover any damage or reinstatement costs must be paid in full by the end of April 2014
2. Payment of the fee for the hire of Stoke Park must be made, in agreed payments, in February, March and May 2014
3. Payment of the fee for the hire of Stoke Park must be made, in agreed payments, in February, March and May 2014
4. Sale of tickets is solely the responsibility of the promoter
