The mighty Green Man festival returns to its glorious Brecon Beacons home for another eclectic and frankly bizarre weekend of festie malarkey 18th – 21st August 2016.

With headliners of the calibre of Belle & Sebastian, James Blake, Wild Beasts, and Laura Marling treading the boards over the weekend it promises to be a veritable musical extravaganza!

That’s not the half of it; this famously diverse festival offers around ten individual zones providing everything from a comprehensive cinema and comedy experience to a science garden zone and spoken word area featuring top poets and authors. There are dedicated zones for the kids (open from Thursday this year), a great 13-17 teens zone, as well oodles of art and installations to get the pulse racing. But don’t worry – their Nature/Nurture zone will soon destress you. Green Man really is a wonderfully eclectic multi-faceted / multi-media music and arts festival.

As you'd expect, Green Man also offers up some fabulous food and drink – with a full blown Beer Festival featuring around 100 beers and ciders (locally sourced of course!) and all served in their eight 24 hour bars. It’s going to be one hell of a party.

Some Weekend tickets are still available at £175 – but only an handful remain, and you can even stay the week with the Settlers Pass for £220 if full-on chilling is your game!

Artists booked to appear include Belle & Sebastian, James Blake, Wild Beasts, Laura Marling, White Denim, Battles, Floating Points (live), Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Jason Isbell, Julia Holter, Michael Rother, Songhoy Blues, Ezra Furman, Jagwar Ma, Cate Le Bon, Fat White Family, Miracle Legion, Besnard Lakes, Nikki Lane, Phil Cook, Joan Shelley, Meilyr Jones, Daniel Norgren, Trader Horne, Formation, Mothers, Sunflower Bean, Kelly Lee Owens, Palace Winter, Ardyn, Deep Throat Choir, Warpaint, Grandaddy, Kamasi Washington, Dungen, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Yorkston, Thorne & Khan, Gengahr, The Moonlandingz, Awesome Tapes From Africa, The Weather Station, Emma Pollock, Whitney, Gun Outfit, The Magnetic North, The Membranes, FEWS, Amber Arcades, Steven James Adams and Oliver Coates.
