Singer, songwriter, actress and living legend Grace Jones will be heading to Hyde Park this July to join Sunday’s ‘Pulp’ day at Wireless with Barclaycard.

With hit records spanning over 30 years, Grace is undoubtedly one of the most iconic and cutting edge artists of our time, with a sound and style firmly entrenched in pop culture history. Her distinct fusion of new wave, pop, reggae and r&b along with her striking, androgynous image has inspired legions of artists since her debut, whilst her enthralling live shows need to be seen to be believed.

Also joining the line-up will be Kiwi quintet The Naked and Famous. One of the most vibrant and interesting acts to hit the UK scene this past year, their single Young Blood was the first debut single to hit number one in their home country for sixteen years. They were recently awarded a coveted place in the BBC’s Sound of 2011.

Denver based band Devotchka will also be taking to the stage on the Sunday with their unique blend of Eastern European, Latin, US southwestern, rock and pop sounds, whilst Texan singer-songwriter and one of the pioneers of psychedelic rock Roky Erikson will also be joining proceedings.

Five years after their first appearance at Wireless, LA based four piece The Like will also return to the stage with their girlgroup harmonies and retro-nuevo sound. Rounding out the line up are enigmatic London based duo Summer Camp, who will be bringing their dreamy synth pop to the Sunday line up.

With the legendary Pulp already confirmed, alongside TV On The Radio, Foals, The Horrors and Metronomy, Sunday at Wireless with Barclaycard is shaping up to be a truly exciting event!
