GO.GO Festival organisers have announced more of the 2012 Line-Up, to reveal a cutting edge programme to satisfy even the most insatiable of tastes. Pulling out all the stops to create an unbeatable line-up, chart toppers and up and coming bands are rubbing shoulders on the Main Stage at the 3 day festival in June.

The incredible Main Stage line-up is backed up by internationally renowned DJ’s, award winning comedians and some of the finest burlesque acts in the country. Artists are flying in from across the globe to entertain the 3,000+ strong audience at the festivals London location.

The Main Stage, headlined by legendary performer PEACHES, also boasts UK favourite Jill Jackson and Irish songstress Wallis Bird, plus sets from American rocker B*tch, JOANovARC, Call The Doctor and twice nominated BBC Radio 2 Folk Award singer Kirsty McGee.

Elsewhere, in the Big Top, daily doses of comedy from award winning comedians including Lara King, and side splittingly funny girls Checkley and Bush give hours of laughter, and the Library hosts literary readings, question and answer sessions and workshops with top female authors will take place throughout the weekend.

The brand new Peacock Lounge oozes retro glamour, with nightly burlesque and this season’s must have vintage accessory, The Tootsie Rollers, strutting their 40’s style on opening night. Each act has been hand-picked for their unique style and demand from the festival audience. Plenty of show stopping performers, including burlesque dancer Kiki Kaboom, voted as one of the Top 5 UK-based performers, and Australia’s No.1 female DJ Neroli will be doing what they do best.

The organisers have created an event that will appeal to everyone, with acts and events to suit all tastes. The festival kicks off on Friday 8th June with 3 explosive launch parties. The 2,000 capacity Big Top houses CLUB GO.GO for the entire weekend, and elsewhere Burlesque stars Luna Rosa and Effie Vescent get the Dance Down The Decades party in the Peacock Lounge off to a fine start. London’s infamous Candy Bar is recreating the famous venue as seen on Channel 5’s ‘Candy Bar Girls’ in the heart of GO.GO, with stars of the show on the DJ decks.
