Glastonbury Festival sold out in record time, despite some technical issues when tickets first went on sale, see note from Emily & Michael Eavis.

After one hour and 27 minutes, the tickets for Glastonbury 2014 have now sold out (in record time).  Our sincere thanks to everyone who managed to buy a ticket today, or a coach ticket package on Thursday.

We have, once again, been blown away by the numbers of people who were hoping to join us at the Festival, and we’re sorry that many of you missed out on a ticket.  We genuinely try to make the ticket system as fair as it can be, but when demand outstrips supply, it’s an unfortunate inevitability that some people will be left disappointed.

If you did get a ticket, then we look forward to seeing you down here at Worthy Farm next June.  If not, then there will be a resale of any returned tickets in the spring, and your registration remains valid to purchase tickets for future Glastonbury Festivals.

Thanks you all again for your incredible support for Glastonbury Festival.  We really don’t take it for granted and we are exceedingly fortunate to have that loyalty.
