Jersey Live Festival are delighted to announce the addition of three young new talents who will no doubt be amongst the highlights of this year’s 10^th anniversary celebration.

Performing on the Main Stage on Sunday 1^st September is Gabrielle Aplin After scoring a number one chart success with her debut single, a cover of Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s ‘The Power of Love’ in December (used in John Lewis’ Christmas advertising campaign), Aplin has since gone on to score a second Top Ten single and last week released her debut album English Rain, which debuted at Number Two in the UK album charts. An incredible achievement for a 20 year-old who as recently as 2010 was in the process of building a fan base by uploading videos of her own cover versions to Youtube. Now signed to recording giants Parlophone, and with six UK headline tours already under her belt, she’s come a long way in a short time. With dashes of Joni Mitchell and Nick Drake influences evident in her songwriting, Aplin’s stunning voice and heartfelt lyricism, quietly melancholic moments and rousingly epic anthems are a potent combination. We’re delighted to welcome her to Jersey Live. 

She is joined on the festival bill by live ‘classico-electronic’ group Clean Bandit, who appear on the Main Stage and headline the JT Stage on Saturday 31^st August.
