FOR Festival is set to return on the island of Hvar in Croatia 2014, with 4 days of programming across multiple venues. Today Modular and FOR are pleased to share the first round of confirmed acts for 2014, alongside ticketing details for this week’s on-sale dates.

FOR launched in 2013 on the island of Hvar in Croatia, as an alternative to the current crop of music festivals across the world. Structured as a music experience inside an island vacation, with a very limited amount of tickets available, no clashing performances, and a schedule that allows for activities such as boating, winery visits, and mornings spent on the beach, as well as a diverse and genre-pushing roster of performances, FOR is an unforgettable destination event not to be missed.
TICKETS
Weekend passes are priced at €220 + BF, and will be available to purchase from here. Presale tickets on sale for FOR Festival website subscribers from Thursday 20th February at 9am GMT and general on sale from Friday 21st February at 9am GMT. Only 2500 tickets are available for the 4-day event.
The weekend FOR pass offers entry into the live shows at Veneranda and the all night parties at private island carpe diem Beach, from Thursday to Sunday.
Spanning multiple venues across the idyllic ancient island of Hvar, and incorporating a diverse, thoughtful line-up of genre-pushing artists, FOR (named for the island’s ancient moniker) is an intimate, non-traditional music event for the discerning experience-hunter.
During the day, attendees can swim in the aqua Mediterranean waters, explore the island’s historical sites, and feast on local culinary delights.
Every evening the programming will take attendees from the outdoor beach bar events to Hvar’s premiere performance areas for live shows, then to a late night party on a private island featuring some of the most interesting and innovative names in dance and electronic music.
DESTINATION
Hvar is an ancient Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea, located off the Dalmatian Coast. The island is accessed via a short ferry or catamaran trip from the port town of Split. Hvar is well known for its spectacular beauty, glorious waters, yachting to the many surrounding islands, and incredibly fresh local cuisine.
