Green Man FestivalGreen Man Festival 2024 announces its first line up, set to captivate audiences from August 15th to 18th in the breath taking Bannau Brycheiniog. Headlining this year are luminaries like Big Thief, Jon Hopkins, Sleaford Mods and Sampha, promising enchanting performances that will elevate the festival experience.

Indie folk favourites Big Thief return for their third appearance, now as headliners, bringing their stirring catalogue of five albums to the stage. Joining them is the revered Jon Hopkins, known for his transcendent sets, and the Mercury-winning Sampha, making his Green Man debut with a headline set that promises to be truly epic. 

Post-punk heroes Sleaford Mods add a dose of cathartic energy to the line up, while Mercury winners Ezra Collective and Arlo Parks ensure a vibrant atmosphere with their joyous Afrobeat-jazz and poignant lyricism, respectively.

Explosions in the Sky and Devendra Banhart bring their sonic magnitude and eclectic antics, while grammy-winning blues giants Tinariwen and Omar Souleman add diverse global sounds to the mix. Scotland’s prolific pop voyager King Creasote, Blur’s Graham Coxon, and former Pipettes member Rose Elinor Dougall, under the moniker The Weave, contribute their mercurial blend of folk-rock and post-punk to the festival.

A line up of pioneering female DJs, including Sofia Kourtests, Loraine James, Nabiha Iqbal, and Sherelle, promise to keep the energy high after dark, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all festival-goers.
