Mark Ronson to headline Camp Bestival 2017

Camp Bestival, the nations most popular family festival has announced its first wave of acts for its tenth birthday bash in 2017, including, Friday night headliner Mark Ronson, All Saints, Holly Johnson, Leftfield, Louisa Johnson and The Bootleg Beatles.

Rob da Bank says: “Calling all budding pop stars, rock stars and divas! Welcome to our first announcement of Camp Bestival 2017 - from the funk pop maestro Mark Ronson through The Bootleg Beatles, the dubby techno majesty of Leftfield and our mates Dick and Dom right up to what should be a showstopper with a UK festival exclusive of Andrew Lloyd Webbers new musical, School of Rock on the main stage. Rock on!”

Bollywood will play host to Skream, David Rodigan presents Ram Jam, Raindance and Big Fish Little Fish.

Camp Bestival will also be bringing School of Rock - The Musical to Lullworth Castle.  As usual there will be plenty to keep the kids amused with the likes of Mr Tumble, Historic Royal Palaces’ Tudors on Tour, Dick and Dom, Giant Kids’ Disco with the World’s Largest Disco Ball,and the inaugural UK Festival Air Guitar Championships.

Dick and Dom say: “So, we’ve had enough of Rob da Bank hanging around our front door begging us to come back, so… WE’RE BACK!!!! 2017 will see us being flipping ace on the main stage (as usual) making people laugh (and cry (as usual)) and… and… AND, it’s ‘DICK V DOM’ on the decks for the silent disco.

Camp Bestival takes place from Thursday 27th - sunday 30th July at Lulworth Castle, East Lulworth, Dorset, Launched in 2008 Camp Bestival has one a plethora of awards and its easy to see why as it is caters for the whole family.

The festival has dedicated areas for music, comedy, DJ's and children's entertainment, on Sunday night the castle will be bathed in an amazing fireworks spectacular with music programmed by Rob da Bank!
