Victorious Festival, set to take place on the Southsea seafront from Friday 23rd - Sunday 25th August, has unveiled an exciting line-up featuring four headlining acts and a diverse array of artists and comedians. Known as the UK's largest metropolitan festival, the event promises a memorable Bank Holiday weekend extravaganza.
Friday night's opening party will be ignited by the incredible Fatboy Slim, the award-winning DJ and producer. Known for dance classics like "Praise You," "Right Here Right Now," and "Rockafeller Skank," Fatboy Slim is set to create a memorable start to the festival.
Snow Patrol, the chart-topping band with over 20 years of hits including "Chasing Cars" and "Run," will take on the role of Friday evening's headliner. On Saturday, the spotlight shifts to singer-songwriter and rapper Jamie T, known for his fast-paced lyrical flows and hits like "Sticks ’N’ Stones," "Shelia," "Zombie," and "If You Got The Money."
Sunday's headliner is the anthemic Biffy Clyro, a three-piece rock band with over 15 years of success and nine studio albums. Having a reputation for delivering powerful live performances, Biffy Clyro is expected to close the festival with an unforgettable set.
The line-up extends beyond the headliners, featuring a diverse array of artists. Grammy award-winning Isle of Wight legends Wet Leg, dance-pop queen Becky Hill, influential American band Pixies, Middleton Not Nineteen Forever rockers Courteeners, and English punk band Idles are among the noteworthy additions.
Pop sensation Jess Glynne and former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson join the line-up on Friday, with Noughties pop icon Natasha Bedingfield and critically acclaimed Arlo Parks also making appearances. Saturday welcomes indie favourites Lightning Seeds and Maximo Park, while Sunday features the return of English pop duo Soft Play (formerly Slaves), along with indie rock band The Snuts and Leeds post-punk four-piece Yard Act.
The festival's expanded comedy offering boasts headliners Russell Howard on Friday and Frankie Boyle on Saturday, adding an extra layer of entertainment to the Bank Holiday weekend. In addition to the headliners, a multitude of talented comedians will grace the stage.
With a line-up that spans various genres and includes both established and emerging artists, Victorious Festival 2024 promises a diverse and entertaining experience for festival-goers on the picturesque Southsea seafront.
This is the first year we’ve released all our headliners at once and we’re thrilled to be able to announce the acts after months of planning. Victorious 2024 is going to be bigger than ever and it’s not just the headliners people need to look out for, we have booked hundreds of acts across the weekend spanning multiple genres. We can’t wait for August, it really will be a year to remember!
