Rob da Bank says: “Two weeks to go faithful Bestivalites and I can’t wait! As you might have guessed, I’m rather fond of a dirty great big soundsystem, so I’m extremely excited to welcome the Digital Soundboy, Swamp and Trojan Sound System crews to our 10th birthday shindig, keep an eye out for me bogling down the front. And don’t miss out on all the crazy goings on in Club Dada and Pig’s Big Ballroom, you won’t be disappointed!”

Joining their super-colossal birthday line-up, are three more full-fat soundsystems to announce who will be ripping up Robin Hill’s dancefloor’s including the incredible Digital Soundboy featuring the mercurial talents of their founder and Jungle pioneer Shy FX, plus the not inconsiderable dancefloor spanking abilities of B.Traits, genre-swerving bass soldier Breakage, and sets from Dismantle, Stamina, LX One and Juma.

Celebrating its 15th Anniversary, Red Bull Music Academy is set to return to Bestival this September with its strongest line-up yet! And they’ve got them chomping at the bit for some huge sine wave action from Swamp featuring Swamp 81 kingpin Loefah, the raw, machine music mayhem of Boddika, bass fusionist Pinch and off-kilter beat purveyor Mickey Pearce. Plus they’ll have Klose One stepping up to rain down the beats and Chunky on hand with the MCing action.

And Red Bull Music Academy aren’t stopping there, they are ecstatic to announce they are also bringing the mighty Trojan Sound System who will do what they do best, blessing the dancehall with some proper jammin’ and thundering bass courtesy of hortical selectors Earl Gateshead, Daddy Ad, Superfour, Chucky Bantan and Jah Buck.

Also added super-hotly tipped MC, Scrufizzer, whose fizzy flow will be smashing up the RBMA stage on Sunday, Tayo 3000 who will moving your dancing shoes in the Wishing Tree and Hidden Disco, funky beats guru Soul Of Man who will be keeping the Hidden Disco jumping and breakbeat champion Ed Solo who will be gracing our brand new arena, Temple Island, on Thursday night. Pig's Big Ballroom is back once again this year, providing a hip-swinging array of acts inspired by music from the time before your mother was born. This year’s line-up includes the acclaimed Duke Special, whose vaudeville and music hall inspired style has made him a firm favourite for those in the know. 10 years old is positively middle-aged for a festival these days, so what better way for Bestival to mark its advancing years than by investing in a garden shed? Not that you’ll be getting much peace and quiet at this most outlandish of outhouses, mind. The Disco Shed has become something of a festival institution – spreading allotmentalism all over the land. And now they’re coming to Bestival, so expect a healthy dose of late-night shedonism from Thursday to Sunday taking in Ska, Funk, Reggae, Hip Hop, Dubstep, Garage, Rock n Roll and who knows what else from Del Gazeebo, Harvey K-Tel and Miss Splinters, et al.

There are just two weeks to go until we hit the island and celebrate like we’ve never celebrated before, so make sure you don’t miss out on the festival season’s biggest ever last hurrah!Tickets on sale here.
