The final pieces of the Download Festival jigsaw are coming together nicely, with details of artists performing on the Jägermeister Acoustic Stage, these include: Bowling For Soup, Anathema, The Answer and Ginger Wildheart.

Also appearing will be Queens of the Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri, acoustic multi-instrumental magician Jon Gomm, Little Angels and Gun singer Toby Jepson, Reuben frontman Jamie Lenman, InMe’s folkster-by-night Dave McPherson, one-man math rock machine Theo and Swedish bombshell Mia Klose.

The Jager Acoustic stage will also feature a range of supremely talented and darkly anthemic bands; Brother&Bones, The Mercy HouseOxygen ThiefStormbringer, Ducking Punches, Enemo-J, Fizzy Blood, Milk TeethNew City KingsRival SonsVerseChorusVerse and Richards/Crane

Joining the line-up elsewhere will be California’s own Rival Sons, who take to the Zippo Encore Stage on Friday. Also on Friday, I Am Fire will appear on the Pepsi Max Stage, and self-described Southern gothic fuzz rockers Bloody Hammers will grace the Red Bull Stage. 

Download Festival is the biggest metal/heavy rock festival in the UK, attracting 90,000 festival goers to the 'spiritual home' of rock Donington  Each year the event attracts the biggest names in rock, and 2014 will be no different.

Away from the main musical feast, the very best bits on the side of any festival can be found in the Download Village, where old favourites mingle with unbelievable new features to create the complete festival experience.

On site entertainment includes after hours madness in Download’s very own raucous nightclub, the Doghouse, where star DJs and one-of-a-kind club nights will keep the party going even after the live music has finished.

This year will also see a brand new look for several of Download’s best-known on site features, adding a new layer of mystique to the festival’s already-immense iconography.

Download Festival takes place at Donington Park in Derbyshire from 13th – 15th June
