Organisers of Download Festival have been forced to cancel this year's festival as the Government's roadmap states that festivals of more than 4,000 people will be unable to take place until 21st June at the earliest, see official statement below:

Following the announcement of the Government’s roadmap and despite the extraordinary efforts the NHS have put in to roll out the vaccine, we can sadly now confirm that Download Festival will no longer be taking place this year.

However Download 2022 have been announced together with the headliners, next year's festyival will take place from Friday 10th - Sunday 12 June at Donington Park and will be headlined by Kiss, Iron Maiden and Biffy Clyro, early-bird tickets go on sale Friday 5th March.
