Doune the Rabbit Hole is a small-scale, family-friendly music and arts festival held over the August bank holiday weekend on the beautiful Cardross Estate.

This year the festival has teamed up with organisers from Kelburn Garden Parties to offer a bus service picking up from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling. The buses are timed to meet trains into Stirling railway station to help people coming into the area by train reach the festival site.

E-tickets are available in advance from Eventbrite or can be bought from the driver.

There are two bus services, morning and evening on Friday 22 August to the festival site from pick up points in Edinburgh, Stirling and Glasgow. On Sunday there are two evening services from the site back to the pick up points and there is a morning bus service from the site on Monday.

There will also be a special “crew bus” for festival volunteers heading to the site on Thursday 21st August. For times and prices click here.

With its idyllic location and carefully curated line-up, Doune the Rabbit Hole offers an array of high-quality artists from around the world.

Joining the bill this year are Jeffrey Lewis, Josephine Foster, Peatbog Faeries, Bass Clef, Acid Mother’s Temple, Balkanarama and the elusive Secret Chiefs 3 (a project by former members of Faith No More and Mr Bungle), Paws and many more.

Free workshops and craft taster sessions will be taking place over the weekend with many of the performers sharing their musical skills with festivalgoers.

Tickets are still available for weekend camping or for each individual day – buying in advance makes a small saving on the gate price.

Doune the Rabbit Hole is on August 22-24 at Cardross Estate near Port of Menteith.

Full weekend camping tickets:

Adults (over-17s) £82 in advance or £90 at the gate

Youngsters (13-16 inclusive) £35

Children (12 and under) free
