Jersey Live 2013 | ||
30th - 31st Aug 2013 Royal Jersey Showgrounds, Trinity, Jersey, JE3 5JP, United Kingdom |
Tickets for adults (with camping) from £96.08 |
Following the recent additions of Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, Nina Nesbitt, The 1975, Gabrielle Aplin and Deap Vally. Also with the great news that the festival has been granted a camping license for the first time in its 9-year history, it’s shaping up to be the biggest, best and most unforgettable Jersey Live yet!
Joining Saturday (31st August) Main Stage line are cult grunge heroes Dinosaur Jr. The Massachussets alt rock trio formed in 1984 and are considered one of the most influential alternative rock bands of their era.
Meanwhile over on the Dance Stage, we regretfully announce that Canadian dubstep duo Zeds Dead have been forced to cancel due to album commitments. They were due to appear on Saturday ahead of headliner Netsky, however released this statement to Jersey Live fans: “"We have to regretfully cancel Jersey festival as due to commitments for our album which requires Zeds Dead to be Stateside during that time period." However, we’ve moved swiftly to line up a replacement and are delighted to welcome Austrian drum & bass superstars Camo & Krooked to the Dance Stage line up. The duo, Reinhard ‘Camo’ Rietsch and Markus ‘Krooked’ Wagner, are an act that have been regularly requested by Jersey Live-goers in recent years so naturally we’re over the moon to have them performing at the festival. The producer-DJs have won four Drum & Bass Arena awards since 2010 and were described by the legendary Grooverider as “one of the biggest talents in drum & bass”. With a mix of dubstep, electro house and techno influencing their unique brand of drum & bass, they have a reputation for exhilarating DJ sets, and we expect their Jersey Live appearance to be no exception
Finally the Saturday night Folklore Stage headliners, London folk rock five-piece Dry the River, who return to Jersey Live after having first appeared here in 2011.
