The inaugural one day 2Q Festival, which takes place in leading venues across Derby city centre has announced the second wave of acts for the 2016 event.

They include: D.I.D, Lucy Spraggan, April Towers and Recreations (formally known as Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly), plus upcoming bands Viola Beach, Hidden Charms, Vukovi, Max Raptor, The St Pierre Snake Invasion, Trash, Vetches and Juneau.

They join the previously announced Reverend and the Makers, Little Comets, We are the Ocean, James Walsh of Starsailor and Hacktivist on the line up, with more announcements to follow.

Phil Burgess of The Hairy Dog shares ‘‘Early Bird tickets for the event sold out only days after its launch and initial reaction to the event has been great, with social media response building and tickets selling steadily since its initial announcement’’.

The event will be held across six centrally located venues including The Guildhall Theatre, The Old Bell Hotel, The Venue, The Hairy Dog, Bar One and Vines host an eclectic mix of big name headliners and emerging talent and aims to showcase Derby as a respected and valued music destination.

Tickets will be priced at just £20 with the objective being to create an affordable event. The aim is to make certain that the line ups created for each venue will reflect great value for money, ultimately ensuring that anyone attending will enjoy the event regardless of the venue they visit.
