Delapre Beer Festival returns on Thursday 29 – Saturday 31 May for three days of live music and the best brews.

Northampton Borough Council will be running the festival in partnership with the Wig & Pen again, after stepping in last year to save the much loved event from being cancelled.

And this year, the Northampton Music 365 Project will be coordinating the music line-up, offering a rich mix of quality entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. 

Performing in the beautiful historic grounds of Delapre Park, the line-up includes Jono and the Uke Dealers, who are set to open the festival with their ukulele sounds, contemporary folk band Kings Gambit, party band Pure Genius and folk rock band Rapscallion.

Other impressive acts include Velvet Engine, Sara Spade, Red circle Triangle Gang, Peter Marchant, Leilla Jane and The Repeat Offenders, who supported The Rifles at one of their sold out gigs.

Also on the menu there will be over 200 beers, 90 ciders, country wines, gin, Pimms and locally sourced food.

Councillor Brandon Eldred, Northampton Borough Council cabinet member for Community Engagement, said: “With so many events happening in the town, everyone can look forward to another summer of top quality entertainment in Northampton.

“And this year’s Delapre Beer Festival is set to be better than ever, with the best beers, ales and fantastic music line-up that our town has to offer.”

“We have such an amazing wealth of home grown musical talent in Northampton, and this initiative is really helping us toward our aim of making Northampton a place renowned for credible musicianship and for its support of local talent.”

The Delapre Beer Festival will run from Thursday 29 May, 4pm – 10pm, Friday 30 May, 11am – 10pm and Saturday 31 May, 11am – 10pm. Entry is £5 per adult.
