Top comedian Craig Campbell has been confirmed to headline the Cabaret Tent on the Sunday night of this year’s Stockton Weekender, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 July, injecting some world class comedy to an already impressive music line up.
Canadian jester Craig has supported Frankie Boyle on his last two sell-out national tours, has performed on Dave’s One Night Stand (DAVE), Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Three) and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC One).
He has more recently been touring the critically acclaimed 2012 Edinburgh show ‘Return of the Lumberjacks’ alongside fellow Canadians; Stewart Francis and Glenn Wool.
A formidable force, Craig never fails to impress with his high octane, charismatic performances and hilarious anecdotes.

Craig will headline Sunday night in the Cabaret Tent, which hosts a mix of comedy and alternative musical acts. Also confirmed to return to play the tent is two of 2012’s most popular acts; The Stockton to Darlington Ukulele Express and improvised comedy troupe Hoist The Rag.
The STD Ukulele Express went down a storm at last years event, the 16 strong, ukulele strumming, Hawaiian shirt wearing group injected some serious fun and proved a big favourite with crowds.
Hoist The Rag return to the Weekender for both days, warming up the crowd perfectly for the night’s headline act. The troupe of actors takes audience suggestions to keep the laughs coming at full pelt, in a Mock the Week / Whose Line is It Anyway style.

Tickets are on sale now at Early Bird prices; £25 a day, £35 for the weekend and £70 for camping. Ticket prices will increase in price from 1 May onwards. Line up and ticket links here
